MEDAC General Assembly, Rome
AKTEA is in Rome for 2 days to participate to the MEDAC General Assembly, the first meeting of the MEDAC that AKTEA participates to face-to-face as a member organization. On the menu of these two days of work is the election of the future presidency of this organization, which will not be female as no woman applied. The other topics are the management of fishing in the Gulf of Lion, the socio-economic aspects of Mediterranean fishing, and many others. The first morning was focused on small-scale Mediterranean fishing with the participation of the GFCM.
